Matthew has been involved in the security industry for over 25 years. In 2002, he identified a need for a truly customer-focused, locally-based security company resulting in the establishment of the Infront Group. Matthew’s vision has seen what commenced ostensibly as a crowd control company grow to incorporate the full suite of services. Infront Group currently provides a wide range of security services to both the public and private sectors. Matthew is a key figure in the security industry, working closely with various Queensland Government departments to promote security, risk and compliance. He also provides advice on a range of security issues that confront our society today. Matthew is a “hands on” leader and has ultimate responsibility for all client and staff needs and always makes himself available to clients and staff.

Matthew holds a Diploma in Security Operations and Risk Management and has undertaken various training programs in workplace training and assessment and weapons instruction. Matthew has also participated in numerous specialist training programs pertinent to the climate we operate in today such as the Responding to Chemical, Biological and Radiological Attacks.

Ash is an experienced business professional with a 15+year background in military operations and strategy, and strategic business management. Ash’s diverse experience and skills have enabled him to seamlessly blend his core military discipline with the dynamic demands of the corporate world. He is a keen believer in understanding the customers’ needs and anticipating their next moves.

Ash’s strong work ethic, leadership skills and focus on strategic planning and operational efficiency have been key to his success as a business leader. His business and financial acumen is underpinned by his qualifications in Accounting and Business Management. With a passion for continuing professional development and learning, Ash holds a Diploma in Military Leadership and Management, Bachelor of Commerce and a Master of Business.

Ash is a Director of RSL Queensland and a current serving member of the Army Reserves

Prior to commencing with the Infront Group, Lisa worked for many years with a number of major mining companies, both nationally and internationally. As a Safety and Risk professional, she is responsible for risk assessment facilitation (HSE and whole of business), ISO compliant HSE management systems, induction and safety leadership programs and the Group’s Audit and Compliance programs.

Lisa holds a Bachelor of Science (environmental/ Chemistry), Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training and Certificate III in Frontline Management, as well as being an accredited Rehabilitation and Return to Work Coordinator.

Daniel entered the security industry in 2005 and commenced with Infront Group as a K9 Handler in 2010. After seven years in supervisory and operational roles within the company, Daniel now manages Static Security and K9 services for some of Infront’s most high-profile clients.

Daniel has a demonstrated history managing large scale portfolios. He has a proactive, hands on approach and a commitment to actively promoting company performance, standards and ideology in a client service environment. Daniel holds a Certificate IV in Security Management as well as undertaking studies in Justice Administration and related professional development.

Luke Nightingale serves as the Operations Manager for North Queensland at Infront Security, bringing a wealth of expertise in compliance, risk management, and large-scale event security to the team. With a Diploma in Security Risk Management and a Cert IV in Security Management, Luke has a solid educational foundation that complements his hands-on experience in navigating the multifaceted challenges of the security industry.

Having managed security at high-profile events such as AFLW and A-League matches, Luke has honed his skills in creating safe and secure environments in dynamic settings. A returning local to North Queensland after spending 5 years in Melbourne, Luke combines his local knowledge with his extensive industry experience to deliver tailored security solutions that meet the unique needs of each client. His proactive approach, coupled with a dedication to excellence and a keen eye for detail, positions him as a trusted leader within the Infront Security team. Luke is committed to fostering strong client relationships, driving operational efficiency, and upholding the highest standards of professionalism and service quality.

Cheryl has worked at the Infront Group since it’s inception in 2002. Cheryl oversees all office functions as well as the internal auditing of our quality assurance management system and the Infront HSEQ internal management system.

Cheryl also assists with initiating and implementing policy and procedure and compliance and administration at major events and festivals.

Michael is a highly skilled and dedicated Crowd and Event Manager with over 20 years of experience in effectively managing security operations. Michael has a keen attention to detail and proactive approach to risk control. His focus on identifying potential security vulnerabilities and implementing strategies to mitigate these threats effectively, ensures a safe and secure environment for patrons, workers and the general public.

Michael’s extensive experience has seen him lead and coordinate security teams for a diverse range of crowd control areas including licenced venues, music arenas, sporting events, large-scale music festivals, cultural celebrations, and corporate functions. Michael is widely respected for his ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with venue owners, event organisers, local authorities, and other stakeholders, fostering a collaborative approach to managing security.

Maxine has worked in the security industry for over 20 years and has held a number of senior operational and business development roles before joining the Infront Group. She has previously worked in both the public and private sectors, including corporate finance and banking, and advisory roles with two (2) former Prime Ministers.

Maxine has also served for 6 years in the Australian Army. Her varied career has provided her with a well-rounded knowledge and experience base for her current role where she provides tender/bid management, contract administration and operational support to the Group.

Maxine holds a Bachelor of Psychological Science.
